Hotel Camino Maya, Recreational and Convention
was founded?
In 1962, a local entrepreneur, visionary, don Isabel Regalado Guerra, been aware of the future development of Copán Ruinas as a world class archeology center, built this hotel as the first one in its class. This Hotel so started the modern hostelry in this beautiful city. It is located just opposite to south west corner of the Central Park, across the street south to Anthropology Museum. The Hotel has two main premises: the Hotel itself and a Recreational and Convention Center located four block away. HOTEL AND THE RECREATIONAL AND CONVENTION CENTER SERVICES 23 rooms; three restaurants; three bars, one of them with billiard table and karaoke; discothèque; four meetings rooms; WiFi wireless and wire free internet; free calls to 35 countries; support office for meetings (computers, data show, printers, etc.); two swimming pools; hammock resting place; children playground; souvenirs store, duty free store, tour operation and reservations services; guarded parking places; power generators.

We are located at the very center of the city of Copán Ruinas, just opposite to the SW Central Park corner on main street, south of Archeology Museum across the street.
